MATCH REPORT: 8s vs. Stirling 4s.

The 8s had their first match of the season on Saturday against Stirling. The team started well, taking a strong lead in the first half. In the third quarter Stirling pulled it back and levelled the score. The last quarter was tough for the 8s and Stirling unfortunately took the lead by a couple of goals to secure a win of 42-38. Although it was a loss, the 8s all played well, with some great interceptions. Player of the match went to Chloe Atkinson who offered strong support throughout the court whilst also getting some fantastic interceptions for her team. Although it was not the result the 8s were hoping for, some important lessons were learnt to take forward into the rest of the netball season!
